Hi! I’m Miyani, the Artsy Fairy. Jack of all trades, master of self. Newly based in Phoenix, Arizona, I’m a 20-year old multi-disciplinary, from Des Moines, Iowa. I specialize in the performance, teaching, & event curation of art.
I have an intricate background that dates back to fifth grade when I joined my first official dance and poetry teams. I now have an arsenal of skills that range from entertainment, to classroom facilitation, beauty services, personal development, and web design.
I heard the saying “Be the change you want to see,” for the first time, as a young child and it unlocked a new pathway in my brain. Ever since then, I’ve held that reminder very close to my heart. The saying deeply motivates the actions I take as I venture through the vast universe with wonder.
My work always returns to themes of exploration, expression, and expansion. I use events and classes as a tool to build a bridge bewteen, and express my love for art, education, wellness, and communitea building. I like to call myself an “Xxperience Scientist”.
The ultimate goal is liberation, but unless we take each singular step that the journey is made of… we’ll never get there. The spaces I host, are invitations to join me in examining our relationships with art, tribalism, technology, and mysticism, through both play and study. Together, we begin to build a new world.
